Rakhi Sawant is an Indian dancer and Hindi film and television actress and a television talk show host. She comes from a Maharashtrian Hindu family. The daughter of a senior Mumbai policeman, who grew up in Mumbai, and was an art student at Mithibai College in Vile Parle, Mumbai, she appeared in several music videos and a few item songs in Bollywood films.
Rakhi is known for creating a buzz, and she is all set to enter ‘Bigg Boss 15’ as a wild card contestant. In past, Rakhi entered ‘Bigg Boss’ as a contestant in Season 1 and as a challenger and finalist in ‘Bigg Boss 14’. In ‘Bigg Boss 14’ she quits the show on finale night taking a bag of Rs 14 lakh but in this season, she wants to fight till the end. Rakhi started her career in the film industry in 1997 with Agnichakra and got a few small roles for dancing in different films like Main Hoon Na and as an item girl in Joru Ka Ghulam.

Politics Journey
In 2014, she contested the Lok Sabha elections from Mumbai after starting his own party Rashtriya Aam Party (RAP) and chose green chillies as the party’s symbol. She got only 15 votes, then she joined the other party Republican Party of India (Athawale).
