Siddhant was born on 29 April 1993 in Ballia, a town in Uttar Pradesh. His father is a Charted Accountant, and his mother is a Housemaker. His family moved to Mumbai when Siddhant was just five years old. He completed his schooling in Mumbai and his graduation in Bachelor of Commerce from Narsee Monjee College in Mumbai.
He was simultaneously pursuing Charted Accountancy with his Graduation. During his article ship period, Siddhant was disillusioned and started participating in various beauty contests and also winning them. He also joined a theatre group and decided to make a career in acting.

After winning various contests and receiving accolades for his looks. Siddhant decided to pursue a career in acting. He started his career with the web television sitcom “Life Sahi Hai” which was a story about four male roommates. In 2017, he acted as Prashant Kanaujia, a teenage cricketer, in the Amazon Prime Video web series Inside Edge, which was inspired by the Indian Premier League. He later reprised his role for the second season in 2019.
Reviewing this series Devarsi Ghosh considered him to be the New Big acting discovery. After the success of the show, Farhan Akhtar, who had produced the show asked Siddhant to audition for his sister’s next directorial venture film Gully Boy. He auditioned for it and got the part of MC Sher. The film also starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and marked Siddhant’s debut in Bollywood. He established himself in the industry with his first film only.
The film was a huge success and Siddhant received a lot of praise from both the critics and audience end for his effortlessly relatable performance of street rapper MC Sher. He had many films lined up for release in the subsequent years.
