Priyanka Chopra was born on 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur, a town in India. Her father’s name is Ashok Chopra, and her mother is Madhu Chopra, both were physicians in the Indian Army. Priyanka has a younger brother named Siddharth Chopra. Priyanka completed her schooling in Lucknow and Bareilly before moving to the United States. At the age of thirteen, Priyanka moved to the United States to study. She lived there with her aunt. She attended schools in Newton, Massachusetts, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After completing her schooling Priyanka joined Jai Hind College and Basant Singh Institute of Science, Mumbai to complete her graduation. But she could not complete it and dropped out of college concerning her modeling career.

Career Path

Priyanka won the title of MISS WORLD in 2000. After this, she decided to venture into the film industry. Her first foray into the movies was in 2002 with the Tamil movie Thamizhan. In the subsequent year, she made her debut in Bollywood with the film “The Hero: Love Story of Spy opposite Sunny Deol. After this, she worked in tremendous hits like Andaz (2003), Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), and Aitraj (2004). She played a negative role in the film Aitraaz which was well received by the audience.

Priyanka had starred in several highest-grossing films of Bollywood. Apart from starring in successful commercial films such as Don, Agneepath, Krrish among others, Priyanka has also worked in a few critically acclaimed films which were hit at the box office, namely 7 Khoon Maf, Fashion, Barfi, Dostana, and Jai Gangajal. She is cited as one of the finest and most successful artists of all time. In the year 2012, Priyanka launched her first music album In My City. From 2015 to 2018, she played the role of Alex Paris in the American TV series Quantico. Chopra has also acted in several Hollywood films, most notably in the satirical drama The White Tiger (2021), which she also executive produced. In 2021, her Hollywood movie Matrix: The Resurrection came out.

Priyanka owns a production company named Purple Pebble Films. The company has produced films in several regional languages. This production company first produced the Bhojpuri language film Bum Bum Bol Raha Hai Kashi.
