Donal studied journalism at the Media College, after which she fulfilled the dream of her parents by anchoring in Chitrahaar. Donal worked as a Bollywood reporter and during that time, Star Plus senior’s eyes fell on Donal and they advised her to become an actress. She gave many auditions and after which she got a chance to do a cameo role of a journalist in the Star Plus to show Airlines. She played the character of Dr Shaily. In the same year, she appeared in Twist Wala Love.
Donal got her first break from the Life OK serial “Kalash Ek Vishwas” in which she played the character of Sakshi. She got a chance to play the lead role for the first time in the Sony TV serial Ek Deewana Tha (2017) and portrayed the double role of Shanaya/Radhika and this show gave her immense popularity.
